Tandoori oven - Repairing


	Tandoori oven cracks and splits. If the clay should crack, a full repair can be carried out with the stick of clay repair kit provided with the TandooriQ.


	Take enough clay off the ball to repair the crack, mould it in the palm of your hand, adding water to it if it has gone hard. You need a consistency of a pliable dough and apply the clay to the crack by squeezing it in with your fingers, remove the excess and leave for a day or so to dry. Then fire up the oven and go through the simmering process for a couple of hours.


	The picture shows a cracked clay pot this kind of crack is not a problem and can be easily repaired with the clay provided.


		To repair a large cracks and holes

	To Repair cracks less than a fingernails width Wet the little dough in a small pan and make a paste out of it. Put an absorbent small piece of cloth in the pan and let the cloth soak the clay paste. Take this cloth and in an even manner rub it across the clay pot of the tandoor.
