Moving the TandooriQ
The TandooriQ is a heavy object it weighs approximately 30 kilos, take care when lifting by your self.
Do not subject the TandooriQ to sudden shock, like dropping from any height.
Do not drag at speed over any surface, always gently pull it along to its new position.
If you want to move it over a distance , it is best to carry it by the handles.
Never place the TandooriQ on its side or ever roll it on its side.
Fuel
Never burn wood or any other materials other than charcoal. It will damage the clay.
How to extinguish the TandooriQ
When you have finished your tandoori session, always close the door and cover it with the
lid, this will enable the clay to cool in its own temperature and prevent shrinkage which
could cause the clay pot to crack..
Never ever extinguish the lighted charcoal with water, it could severely damage the pot
beyond repair.
TandooriQ is a beautifully engineered piece of cooking genius, providing that the simple precautions are taken it give you, your, family and friends years of culinary pleasure.

Storing
The British weather is damp at the best of times, it is always best to take the TandooriQ indoors when not in use. If you should wish to leave it outside, always have the door closed and covered with the lid. Do not leave it outside in winter months and subject it to frost, ice and the penetrating rain and dampness of winter.
Be aware after your tandooriQ session you have closed the door and covered it with the lid, if you have used it during the day or evening, and there was a sudden down pour whilst the TandooriQ was cooling, it could create rapid cooling of the stainless steel, causing it to shrink, causing the clay pot to crack.
